Each year, Mount Allison hosts a number of celebratory events and activities for graduates during Convocation Weekend.

Events, times, and locations are subject to change.

Friday, May 8

9 a.m.-9 p.m.

FIRST STOP! CLASS OF '26 REGISTRATION
Windsor Grand Room, Windsor Hall

Pick up your Convocation Weekend Bracelet and keys to your on-campus accommodations. You can also purchase tickets to certain individual events.

Weekly Jummah Prayers for Muslim students and members of the Muslim community. Rugs are available.

Every year, the BFA and BA Fine Arts graduating students exhibit their work at the Owens Art Gallery as the culmination of their degree program.

The graduating class will take a group photo with the Class of '76, celebrating its 50th anniversary, followed by a photo of just the Class of '26.

CLASS OF '26 — GATHER FOR GRAND MARCH (for grads and guest only)

At 9:45 p.m., the Class of '26 will begin their Grand March to the R.P. Bell Library, proceed to the Wallace McCain Student Centre, and conclude at Tweedie Hall for their Grad Ball.

Join alumni, the Mount Allison community, and anyone who wants to join in song, prayer, sacred text, and reflection — hosted by the Multi-Faith Chaplain and Spiritual Care Coordinator. People of all faiths, spiritual, and philosophical paths are welcome.

VARSITY ATHLETIC PIN CEREMONY
Brunton Auditorium

Graduating varsity student-athletes will receive a pin in recognition of their commitment to athletics during their time at Mount Allison. Guests welcome.

MY FIRST ALUMNI EVENT: CLASS OF '26 DESSERT RECEPTION
Hosted by the Mount Allison Alumni Board
R.P. Bell Library

Graduates, families, and friends are warmly invited to join us on the evening before Convocation — your first alumni event, and certainly not your last. 

During the reception, the Class of 2026 are invited to leave their mark in the Library by sharing memories, messages, and warm wishes on the Library stairwell walls for the 2026–27 cohort of students. 

Tickets: all grads, family, and friends are invited to attend. No ticket required.

GATHER FOR STUDENT PROCESSION — BSc, MSc, BComm, BASc
McCormack Gymnasium, Athletic Centre

Students should have their cap, gown, and hood (folded) with them. It takes time to organize students! Please arrive on time. A number of marshals will be available to direct you. Learn more about the student procession.

Guests of graduating students should go directly to Convocation Hall.

MORNING CONVOCATION CEREMONY — BSc, MSc, BComm, BASc
